Webinar: Innovation in the maritime industry

Learn how simulations accelerate naval design innovation with Simcenter and overcome marine industry challenges more effectively.

With environmental regulations increasingly becoming more strict and the goal of net-zero in 2050, the marine industry is under pressure to reduce emissions and improve energy efficiency today. CFD and system simulations enable engineers to model and optimize hull designs, propulsion systems, and fuel consumption, allowing for more sustainable and compliant vessels without compromising performance.

Mark your calendar for our upcoming webinar and discover how digital twin technology is transforming the future of ship design and performance assessment!

What to expect?
As marine vessels become more integrated and complex, CFD and system simulations allow engineers to optimize multiple systems such as hydrodynamics, propulsion, and power generation simultaneously. This holistic approach ensures better system performance, efficiency, and durability by analyzing how different components interact under various conditions. During the webinar, we will dive into how you can use Simcenter to perform these assessments in an efficient way.

Experts from Femto, Siemens, and our customers will showcase how Simcenter STAR-CCM+ and Simcenter Amesim are transforming hull resistance predictions, buoyancy performance in calm water and response to complex wave motions. Discover how these integrated propulsion systems are helping companies meet industry challenges more effectively.
