Meet Liss: Femto’s New Business Operations Officer

Hi there, I’m Liss. Born and raised in Brazil and living in the Netherlands since April 2008. I’m a sort of a chameleon and am able to adapt to different environments very well. My interests are a bit all over the place: I love languages, history, geography, astronomy, technology and music (especially heavy metal). I also enjoy weight training, taking care of my 100+ house plants, cooking and going to concerts.

What made you choose this job at Femto Engineering? 

After almost a decade working mostly on the online communications branch, I have decided to change course and accept a new challenge at Femto. Now I am their new Business Operations Officer. This role combines several passions of my, such as problem solving, communications and project management. I am also very pleased with the work environment and company culture

Tell me a bit more about your past experiences.

I graduated as Digital Communications Specialist at the Hogeschool Rotterdam. I have always been passionate about making sure that communications can be used as an effective tool to reach the right audience and archive goals efficiently. Outside of Femto I have worked in online campaigns for companies such as Decathlon, Hema, Bever and Bijenkorf.

How do you see your future at Femto? 

My journey with Femto is just at the beginning, but I can see myself thriving in this environment. The colleagues are welcoming, the work is engaging and the company culture is very relaxed and informal. That’s exactly the kind of place I’ve always wanted to wort at. I hope that, just like several of my colleagues, I too can work here for years to come. I’m excited to see what the future here will bring!
