After a thoroughly review of all our main business units on January 10, 2018, we are pleased to announce we have achieved our ISO 9001:2015 accreditation.

ISO 9001:2015 is a Quality Management System based on a formal methodology of defining, documenting, executing, monitoring and improving operational processes to meet stated and implied needs of customers and other stakeholders of an organization. TÜV Nederland was selected to help us with the ISO 9001:2015 transition, perform the final quality audit and issue our ISO 9001:2015 certificate.

Our internal auditor, Merel Beijersbergen van Henegouwen, describes the transition to ISO 9001:2015 and the benefits of our quality system for our stakeholders.

At Femto Engineering we believe procedures, forms and guidelines are only the tangible aspects of our quality system. The more important, intangible part is having quality consciousness people at all organizational levels. We want our clients to count on us for straightforward advice and expert insights. My role is to instill and foster a mindset of anticipating customer’s needs in a consistent and reliable manner.
For our ISO 9001:2008 accreditation we focused on getting all our operational procedures with respect to consultancy, training & support standardised. For the transition to ISO 9001:2015 we had to invest in leadership & management aspects of our business as well. We always believe in raising our standards, so we took this challenge head on and with success.
