This year, we’re excited to host the Femap User Day once again, featuring an impressive lineup of guest speakers you won’t want to miss.

Among them is Andy Haines, Product Manager of Simcenter Femap at Siemens Digital Industries Software, who brings over 25 years of experience with Femap to the table, specializing in finite element analysis, custom API routines, and advanced user support. Andy will be presenting the latest developments in Simcenter Femap, offering valuable insights into finite element analysis and advanced user support.

Joining us as well are representatives from SDC Verifier, IQIP, and Rapid Structural Design, who will share their experiences using Femap software. For instance, Jussi Puurula and Mikail Pudovkin from Rapid Structural Design (Forefront of the Model-Based Design Approval trend in the shipbuilding industry.) will demonstrate how to automate FEMAP modeling for ship structural designs, regardless of file format.

IQIP, a leader in offshore solutions, will showcase how Femap optimizes their engineering processes for offshore products.

Additionally, SDC Verifier will highlight how their software enhances Femap for fatigue analysis and structural verifications.

The TU Delft Hydro Motion Team will also be present to showcase their hydrogen boat project and Femto’s contributions. And last but not least, our own Femto expert Bas Aberkrom, will delve into the new features and possibilities of plate meshing, including tips and tricks for geometry preparation and refining with tools like “mesh control explorer” and “mesh on mesh.”
